Who invented www - World Wide Web

We all use www in our daily life. But do you know who invented www ? World Wide Web (www) is invented by Robert Cailliau and Tim Berners Lee.

World wide web works with a protocol know as HTTP (hypertext transfer protocol). HTTP uses TCP to exchange hypertext between client and server.

This is the reason why we use http:// before an URL (Universal resource locator).

Advantages of www :

www helps to access remote webpages and resources.
World Wide Web is useful for gathering or exchanging information.
