Asianet new frequency - 4008.15 MHz

From today (24/06/09) Asianet & Jeevan Tv switched on to new frequency. (Asianet new frequency - 4008.15 MHz).

So we can watch Asianet, Asianet Plus, Asianet News & Jeevan Tv on the new frequency. Just auto tune your set top box and you will get the channels.

The satellite is the same, ie INSAT 2E. So no need to change direction of dish antenna. Just auto tune or manually add the new frequency, symbol rate, polarization, VPID, APID & PCRPID.

Asianet new frequency details :

Satellite - INSAT 2E 83 Degree East.
Frequency - 4008.15 MHz.
Symbol rate (S/R) - 19.531 Mega Symbols per Second.
Polarisation - Vertical.
FEC - 3/4.

There was scroll going on at Asianet & Asianet news channel regarding change of frequency from past one or two weeks. But when i switched on Tv today there was no signal.

Later on i recollected about the change of frequency and tuned into Asianet new Frequency & enjoyed ISS.
