Thrissur Pooram 2009

Thrissur Pooram 2009 will be celebrated on 3rd May 2009. The Pooram festival will be telecasted live by local Tv's of Kerala, India. Thrissur Pooram festival is conducted on the Pooram day of Medam (Malayalam Calendar).

Pooram of pooram's Thrissur Pooram is an important fest for Kerala people (malayali). This fest is featured by thousands of people who accumulate at the Thekkinkadu Maidan, Thrissur, Kerala.

But the main attraction of ThrissurPooram is the display of elephants. The elephant's will be well decorated and will be displayed in order. There is also display of umbralla's and related custom's.
