Symptoms of Rett Syndrome

Rett Syndrome is a neurological disorder found on human beings. This developmental disorder is usally found on females. The below are the Symptoms of Rett Syndrome.

Intellectual disability is one of the symptoms of Rett Syndrome. Mental retardation and developmental regression are seen in such patients.

Hyperventilation or Breathing problem is another symptom of Syndrome.

Rett Syndrome can also result in loss of speech.

There are so many other symptoms. I have mentioned some according to my knowledge.

The main cause of Rett Syndrome is the variation (mutation) of MECP2 gene.

Rett Syndrome will result in loss of abilities such as walking and moving.
