No Tax cuts for outsourcing Companies - Barack Obama

US president Mr. Barack Obama said that, there will be no tax cuts for outsourcing companies. He said this on his first address to the Congress.

This news made a big impact on Indian BPO and Software companies. Indian BPO and Software companies do Jobs outsourced from America. Medical Transcription, Voice Call Processing, Call Centeres and Software development works are outsourced by some US companies to Indian Companies. Indian IT comapnies do this jobs because of the Currency difference between Indian Rupee and American Dollars.

US comapnies outsource Jobs because of Huge Tax they have to Pay there. If the Jobs are done on India then they can save Tax. If US goverment (Obama) lifts Tax or reduce Tax then there is no need for outsourcing of Jobs from US. So this will affect countries like India whose IT Sector basically depends on US and UK Jobs.

Even now the IT companies are in Financial Crisis. This news will only help to increase panic in Indian IT Field.

There are so many Educated professionals who do IT Jobs. If Information Technology Collapse in India, then the number of Unemployeed people will increase.


Hope BPO and Software Jobs will not be affected by this Crisis.

What is Medical Transcription ?

Medical Transcription is the process of Converting Voice into Text . The Voice is of a doctor who dictates diseases , medicines and remedies.

In US and UK and in other countries there are Health care Insurence companies which pays the doctor for treating a patient. So he has to submit a report of how many people he have treated and what all medicines he has priscribed for getting a payment.

As the doctor has no time to document (create a word file) he will record the dictations as an audio file.

There comes Medical Transcription . The Medical Transcriptionist (Person who transcribes) converts this voice to text and submits this document to the doctor.

He will submit this document to Health care Insurence companies and gets his payments.

Medical transcription is a BPO Job (Business Process Outsourcing) which is outsources by developed countries to developing countries.

As the expence for Medical Trancription is high in Developed Countries they will send this audio files to developing countries . There they have to pay only cheap rates to Medical Transcriptionist. So the developing countries will decode the voice to text and send Text files Back.

Some people or Howsewifes are doing homebased Medical Transcription Jobs while there are some BPO companies which do the same Job.

There is a vast scope for Medical Transcription in future , because everyday everytime there will be patients..
