Rail Budget 2009 New trains
Today Railway minister Mamata Banerjee presented Railway Budget 2009 at Lok Sabha. At Rail Budget 2009 new trains granted were around 57.
On the Rail Budget 2009 new trains allotted for Kerala is 8. Students concession is also there on the Budget.
Twelve new non stop trains has been announced by Mamata Banerjee.
Some of the new trains which Kerala got are :-
Shoranur - Nilambur New Passenger,
Hapa - Tirunelveli Passenger via TVM etc.
TVM and Ernakulam will be formulated as World class stations and new nursing college will be set out at Kollam, Kerala, India.
Hope the new trains introduced on the Rail Budget 2009 reasonably meets Kerala's needs (8 trains).

Renowned artist Tyeb Mehta died today at Mumbai due to some heart problems.
Tyeb Mehta died at the age of 84. Tyeb Mehta was born at 1925 & died at 2009.

His death will be a big loss for all Indian people who likes paintings.

In India there will be Petrol price hike by 4 Rs & Diesel price hike by 2 Rs from July 2 2009.
But there is no change in Kerosene price & LPG price. So housewives can relax a little bit.
The new hiked petrol price in Kerala, India will be around 48 Rs and diesel cost will be around Rs 36.
The new petrol price hike may result in the increase of price of day-to-day commodities and transportation charges.
The price hike can result in more people depending on public transportation system rather than using self owned vehicles. This will result more rush in the bus.
This Petrol price hike and Diesel price hike will be very sad news for college students who use their own bikes. As they depend parents completly for their petrol and diesel expense, they will be forced to leave bikes at home itself.
